My Summer

I worked a lot this summer and accomplished very little of what I wanted.
I worked 55-60 hours a week, and I wasn’t in love with either job. On top of that I also took a class. I got pretty stressed a few times, which is rare for me. There were only a few times when I did something fun, and it would usually cost me in sleep, which I was already short on. This part of summer was long and enduring, but it already seems so far behind me, considering the things I’ve been through recently.

I spent a few days in Indiana for Student Conference with Tony, Jordan, and Brady. It gave me a lot to think about. And we had a lot of fun.

Then I flew out to Washington to visit my best friend Christy. We didn’t get to do a whole lot but it was still amazing. I love her and I was glad I could be there while so much was happening in her life. The trip was full of emotion, good and bad, happy and sad. We had a lot of fun. It was…powerful. I really wish I was still there.

I returned to take my role as best man in Paul and Sara’s wedding. There were elephants.

I’ve left out a lot of detail. A lot of important detail. Ones that make me happy, and ones that make me cry.
I’ve been pretty unfocused since Washington. Lots of things will be going on in the next few days. I think I’m supposed to be looking forward.
