The God of Truth.
I just recently finished the Magician’s Nephew from the Chronicles of Narnia. (I know most of you have read it, like in 5th grade), it’s really made me think though. Like what it would be like to be alive while God was creating the world. Would it not be magnificent!
God created this entire world so that we may be reminded of him, oh but how we refrain from seeing the truth! “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” [Romans 1:20] I mean wow! Does it not make since though? God truly want’s us to live for him, he wants us to know that he is there! Let’s say you get a chance at building a nice little world of your own… would you not want your creations to know that you exist? In this same way, God is constantly reminding us that he is there! He has always and will be forever! WE HAVE NO EXCUSE to not believe! It’s all here! It’s happening right before our eyes… and yet we do forget. I forget sometimes too…
In the Scriptures, references are made that the Bible is our spear and the Spirit is our shield. God is our armor! The armor against this world is our God! Do we really think that God cannot help us in certain situations? He made us! Could he not take part in helping us solve our problems. “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” [Ephesians 6:13] Wow… are we really that inconsiderate of God?
It happens to us all… you and me both. The world has a way of fixing its grip around our lives. When that day comes, let us fight it off! Do not just give in! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! And do pray. God wants us to pray it’s our connection to him.
“Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” [James 5:13-16]
Go pray tonight and fill your soul with the holy spirit, let God be your spear, your shield-your armor! Let him into your life so that you may be Happy, so that you may Love, and spread the Joy that comes from the God of Truth! Take time out of your so busy life to just talk with him, whether that be in your head in your room, or aloud in an empty park. PRAY EVERYONE PRAY, GOD WILL HEAR YOU! I know he does…
Have faith,
COREY
