Today’s that date I reflect yet again,
Fleeting looks at all of my friends.
Exalting my Savior for his Gift above.
Ever so grateful for the ones I love.
But this instance has differed just a slight,
As I remember a talk one star-filled night.
The gentle flow of a sweet clear breeze,
Another gift from God sitting alongside me.
How great it is to have a friend as such,
Someone to talk with that cares so much.
To gaze in the Lord’s eyes with and just reminisce…
Greater love hath no one than this.
