There are hidden sides of me
That only you can see.
There’s no corners of my mind
That I can hide.

There’s a fear deep within me
That makes me want to weep.
Only part of me fights this
The rest of it is God.

So when you curse at my skin
Heed the bleeding heart within.
Then you’ll know these tearing eyes
Are resulting from your sin.
