MKC has gone through some major changes. The configuration of wordpress for the blogging section of mkc is finally starting to wrap up a bit. I’ve finally got the menu bar fully functional and, if you login, you’ll be able to see the top user navigation that will be available throughout the blogging section of MKC. My next projects will include a design for the discussion section of MKC and updated navigation bar on the home page. Grant and I are discussing a new home page idea that will update users profile pictures throughout the site (including the homepage) that will be done in flash.

I’m still in search of a video script that will integrate with the mkc system a bit better. I’m still waiting for buddypress to come out, which will hopefully be a better social networking platform for mkc.

It’s almost finished. There’s just some finishing touches left on the MKC Blog…. but as always, it will be in constant work. I have to fix the above MKCbar and find out how to make the footer work, but other than that it’s up to the majority of its function.

Anything bothering you while you navigate?

Okay, so not really… This theme is only temporary, i’ve been testing it and will be including many of the features within the next mkc blog theme. There’s a lot I still have to do. I’m wanting to add a Facebook comment sync that would import your comments that are posted on Facebook to each wordpress post. I’ve got a skeleton version working but I’ve been unable to link each post to the correct post. All it does right now is import your comments from Facebook into your Comments page on the dashboard. I’m also working to integrate a Facebook Status update into the MKC blogs. That means when you update your status on Facebook, it will automatically update your wordpress status.

If Globat ever updates our server to php 5.0 then we can also have a way to access all your Facebook albums too.

So yeah… lots to work on guys. Hopefully I get a design theme done over break. I’d like to anyway.
